Chapter 135 "Of course. Ivy, you've always been my best friend," Kelly said.
"Well, if that's the case, why didn't you tellabout your pregnancy?" Ivy asked.
Kelly hesitated before responding, "Um... Who told you I'm pregnant?" Ivy scoffed, "Con, don't play dumb. Mr. Lewis bought you skincare today, specifically asking for the pregnancy set. If you're not pregnant, why would he buy that?" As Kelly processed Ivy's words, she realized the truth. The skincare set wasn't for her. She instantly knew who it was meant for.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang, breaking their conversation.
"Oops, sounds like someone's at the door. Mr. Zander is probably looking for me. Let's chat later," Ivy said before hanging up and heading to the door.

"Mr. Zander, are you looking for me?" Ivy asked.
"Yeah, I just wanted to give you a heads-up. Pack your things. We have a flight in half an hour," Alex informed her.
Ivy stared at him, looking puzzled. "Wait, where are we going?" "We're heading back to Chilburg," Alex replied.
Ivy frowned in confusion. "But wasn't that supposed to be happening the day after tomorrow? And it's definitely more than a half-hour drive to the airport from here." Alex shrugged. "Mr. Lewis has everything sorted. We just need to go along with it." "Okay," Ivy said, though still a bit uncertain about the sudden change in plans.
20 minutes later, the three of them stepped into the elevator.
Alex pushed a button, and Ivy glanced at the display, realizing they were going up instead of down.
Her confusion deepened. Weren't they supposed to head to the airport? Why were they going to the rooftop? A few minutes later, the elevator reached the rooftop. As the doors opened, a chilly breeze swept in. Vincent and Alex, dressed in coats and long pants, seemed unfazed But Ivy in her sleeveless emerald green dress barely reaching her thighs, couldn't help but shiver in the wind.
en The rumbling of a helicopter overhead grew louder as it approached.
It wasn't until the helicopter landed in front of them that Ivy realized they were chartering a flight back to Chilburg overnight.
Ivy glanced at Vincent. Though he remained composed and cool, she couldn't shake the feeling that he was eager to return for sreason. What else could make a man so eager to return if not a woman? "Kelly was indeed one lucky woman!" Ivy mused inwardly.

black car parked in the fog. At first she thought she might be mistaken. However, when she checked the license plate, she confirmed it was Vincent's car. But wasn't he supposed to be away on a business trip? According to the schedule, he wasn't expected back for at least another day or two. His sudden appearance left Tiffany puzzled.
As she wondered, the car door opened, and Vincent stepped out.
He was dressed sharply in a suit, and his hair was slightly tousled. He looked as if he had traveled a long way to be there.
There was a hint of weariness in his eyes, but when he looked at her, a gentle smile graced his lips.
