Chapter 351
Checking out the actions of these folks, who coff as wild and without rules, boldly going against Tate
Group's CEO, George, and even risking it to kidnap people from the Burnetts, you'd think they saw themselves
as untouchable, yet here they are?! Walking through the gate, she quickly realised she had been thinking too
narrowly.
Even though it was a deserted factory, the place was surprisingly tidy. All the busted doors and windows were
fixed up, and they had even put down a layer of blue stone bricks on the floor. She saw many people hauling
stuff around with their hands, and they looked surprised to see her show up.
Milly also couldn't help but notice the unique tattoo everyone had on their shoulders, which really stood out.
The kidnappers quickly led Milly into a room in the factory, saying, “Mr. Raiden, Mr. Nimbus, we've got the person
you were looking for!” Inside were a bunch of new couches, all with their price tags still on. Two guys were
seated on these couches, looking cool with their legs crossed. When they were called out, they both looked over
at Milly.
Then, the guy on the right gave her a once- over before locking eyes with her. “So, you're the lady from Shadow
Palace, huh?”
The lady from Shadow Palace?
That was a bit of a twist. It meant these guys weren't from Shadow Palace-they were part of the Ghost Sect!
The guy stood up and walked around her, almost laughing. “I didn’t think the guy would be scared to show who
he really is, always hiding behind a mask. | don’t know if there's a real person or a ghost under that mask, and
now he’s brought a girl with him.”
“Shame, aren't you scared there's just a skeleton under that mask?”

Milly bit her lip, trying to understand what he was saying.
Who was this masked person causing trouble for their crew?
Or did they confuse her with someone else?
Summoning her best acting, Milly let tears fill her eyes and looked up vulnerably, “Could it be you've got me
mixed up with someone? I'm just a regular person. | don’t know who you're talking about. Can't you just let me
go, please?”
As she cried, the man’s stern look softened a bit. Even though Milly kept up her act, inside, she smirked.
It seemed like men were simple creatures; all it took was a beautiful woman crying a bit, and they'd fall apart.
As she was gearing up to keep her performance going, a severe voice cut through from behind, “Raiden!”
The guy, who had seemed a bit sympathetic, snapped out of it with that strict call, his
look sharpening. “Shoot, almost got taken in by her act!”
Nimbus just squinted his eyes, choosing to stay quiet.
Milly caught the stern voice and saw another guy lounging on the couch. Despite being young, he seemed savvy.
He was the one who had just told off someone named Raiden.
Tricking him seemed like a long shot.
Nimbus didn’t bother with what she was thinking; she just coolly gave orders to his team, “Let's stay on point.
Get a message to Shadow Palace. Let them know we've got their boss's favourite person with us. If they want
her back, they gotta show up alone at the planned spot tomorrow at midday. Make sure they cby
themselves, okay?”
One of his crew confirmed with a nod, “Got it!”
Before they left, they took numerous photos of the kidnapped Milly, leaving her utterly speechless.
Isn’t it more common for kidnappers to make threats through calls? Why are they using pictures this time?
Maybe they're thinking of sending an email?
The more complex the kidnapping, the simpler the tactics they use.
After issuing a few more commands to his crew, Nimbus gestured, and they cornered Milly, with around three or
four guys, all armed, forming a tight circle around her. They weren't interested in chatting with her, just using her
for their plans.
Milly breathed a sigh of relief. This was okay with her-they weren't planning to off her right then and there. But
just as she was about to take a moment to think about her next steps, a sudden memory hit her like a lightning
strike.
The Ghost Sect.
Oh, right, she just remembered! Scarface had dropped hints about the ‘Shadow Palace’ and this ‘Ghost Sect’.
She'd done a deep dive into the dark web, using severe hacker skills to gather info on these two groups. She
discovered that the Ghost Sect wasn’t just your regular run-of-the-mill organisation. It was complex, really
complex. She'd been too distracted before, so it took her a while to piece things together.
So, the world is a whole of these secret groups and factions, all different sizes. Still, the big player everyone talks
about is the Ghost Sect of Maldonia. They're in another league with the most extensive crew, the slickest
operations, and top-notch assassins.
Whenever folks are on the dark web looking to hire effective assassins, they end up with the Ghost Sect. They're

So, it doesn’t matter if you're dealing with the shady side of things or sticking with the law; coming across
someone from the Ghost Sect is a big deal because they're pretty high up there regarding respect.
Now, about that mysterious Shadow Palace.
The nmakes you think it’s ssecret organisation, but you need help finding info about them online, not
on the dark web or anywhere else.
Nobody's ever gotten in touch with the Shadow Palace for hiring hitmen. Even the smaller groups have yet to.
They're like ghosts, not leaving any trail online!
The easiest way to recognise someone from the Ghost Sect was by spotting their unique tattoo. It was the same
one she had seen on the guys with no shirts when she arrived.
This meant that the people she faced were part of the Ghost Sect.
Thinking about this made Milly feel pretty down. If these guys were really from the Ghost Sect, not even Jordan
stepping in with his extensive network in Halturia would help much, let alone get her out of this mess.
So their group is usually super strong.
But Milly stumbled upon something on the dark web saying that the Ghost Sect was a mess. They've been
without a new boss since their last leader kicked the bucket. Just a couple of sect leaders are trying to keep
things together, but there needs to be a prominent person in charge.
This could be the Burnetts’ chance to take them on, especially now that they're hanging out on Halturian ground,
a bit away from Maldonia.
While Milly was lost in thought about all this, suddenly, one of the goons cup to her with a gun and kicked
her foot lightly, saying, “Mr. Raiden wants to see you. Get a move on and follow me!”
