Chapter 352 Disbelief Amir's p.o.v.

Finished I watch Echo jump into the closest tree, I don't like the risks she is taking, but Matrius is right. This is our best chance of getting solid intel; we need all the information before proceeding.

Matrius is near the surface, his senses focused on Echo and it surprisesthat he can still hear where she is. That is usually only reserved for fated Mates and family members and not for people that just met hours ago.

"It is a pity that Mateja can't link us, it would have saved us stime. Now we must wait until she returns before we can get moving." I hear Pedro say through the mind-link.

"Doesn't matter, we have time. Still no news from Bellwich." Clover responds and I am glad no one expectedto reply to Pedro's remark.

"She is on her way back." Matrius tells the others through the mind-link and I see everyone turning their heads in my direction. I shake my head because I have no answer for them, this is very unusual and doesn't make sense to me.

A few minutes later we hear the rustling of leaves above us and Echo jumps to the ground right beside me, to whackwith her tail in my face.

The others chuckle while I stare after her when she moves behind one of the SUVS to shift and That Mountain Lion has a naughty streak in her and Matrius is enjoying himself.

"No one is watching the prisoners, they have given them sfreedom and that is what your guys saw earlier. They are moving around the residence, maybe preparing for the arrival of Lucas." Mateja says as she -walks towards me.

"I only saw three of them, but I saw something that might cause a hitch. They have ankle monitors and there are numerous cameras inside the residence, also saw preparations for cameras on the outside." Mateja continues as she points at a few spots on our map.

We have a plan for the cameras inside the residence in minutes, but the ankle monitors are proving a bit more challenging. If we cut them it will trigger an alarm, if we leave them on they can follow us and both aren't a good outcfor our assignment.

"Let's get to the residence first, we might find a solution once we get there." I say, gesturing the others to follow me.

We are halfway through the trees surrounding the residence, when I feel a hand on my arm. I look to my right to see Mateja walking next to me.

"How fast can we get away from the residence after we have disabled the cameras?" She asks and I have to think about it for a second.

I tell her that we can leave within minutes, but I don't get what she is hinting at with her question.

"Can you send a few of your members to get the SUVs? I might have a way to get us safely out of here." Mateja says, before she starts explaining her plan to me.

She has managed to surpriseyet again, first she gets us the intel we need and now she comes up with a solution for the ankle monitors.

"Pedro, once you and your team have disabled the cameras, you return to get the SUVs and head to the front of the residence." I order Pedro through the mind-link, he nods his head before taking his team to their destination. "The rest of you will search every floor of the residence and get every victim you find to the lobby by the front door. Once we hear the SUVS approaching, we will cut the monitors simultaneously and make a run for it. Let's hope it will take a while for anyone to get to the residence." I inform the rest of the teams.

I quickly relay the orders I gave out to Mateja and she givesa small smile as we reach the backdoor of the residence.

The first victim we bump into is Dorian and when I tell him about our search for him and the others, he sighs in relief. It takes us about twenty five minutes to find all ten victims and as the last one enters the lobby, we hear the SUVS arriving.

"Let's get those monitors off and get the hell out of here." I say and ten of my unit members get down on one knee as one, cutting the monitors to set the victims free.

Dorian handsa bag, "Evidence, a detailed schedule on our individual assignments here. The medication we were supposed to use on Giselle, not that we have any idea who she is or when she is going to arrive." Holy Fuck. Lucas screwed this one up, if he is the one that handed them the schedule and the medications to use.

"How many people did you see here?" I ask no one in particular.

"Just Lucas and Marcel, it has been that way since they took me. There is a female they talk to a lot on phone, she seems to be in charge." Sylvie says, after all she was taken fifteen years ago and would have the most information. "Any idea who the female is?" Wade asks. We all wait for her to answer us, but she doesn't seem to have the answer.

"He never said her name, and always answered the phone with his back turned to us. It didn't do him much good though, once was able to see the caller ID when I was on the landing of the second floor in the other house, it said Mom.” Weston responds.

We quickly put everyone in the SUVS and drive away from the residence. We go straight to the Palace, Pam not ке to the R going going to take any chances with these victims and I need permission to go after Lucas and his watchdogs, as Mateja calls them. The guard at the gate looks at Mateja with his mouth wide open, I only shake my head, unwilling to explain anything at the moment.

I can hear Mateja cuss softly and as I look up I see Giselle on the steps of the Palace, "You didn't really believe me, did you?" Pedro asks, chuckling.
