Chapter 105 Just In T"Maddy?" Sierra raised a brow, warmth flickering in her chest. She thought back to how

she'd confidently reassured Madison earlier that nothing would happen tonight—only for reality to cback

and make her eat her words.

"Cee!"

She suddenly heard Madison's voice and looked up to see a car pulling up. The moment it stopped, Madison

jumped out and hurried toward her.

Sierra stood up.

"Cee, what happened to your face?"

Madison's sharp eyes immediately caught the swelling on Sierra's cheek. Her expression darkened as she raised

her voice. "Benson actually laid his hand on you? That bastard—I'll kill him!"

She didn't even hesitate before cursing him out.

Sierra shot Theo an awkward glance before gently tugging on Madison's hand, trying to calm her down.

Masidon paused, glanced at Theo, and cleared her throat. "Uh—he's Benson's uncle. | meant... Benson's actual

uncle."

"It wasn't him. It was Sophie."

"That shameless bitch! Where is she? I'm going to rip her damn face off!"

Madison rolled up her sleeves, ready to fight, her whole face radiating fury. But before she could storm off, Sierra

reached out and stopped her.

"Trust me, she won't be showing her face anytsoon."

Those self-punishment—if that didn't ruin her, she'd at least need tto recover.

Hearing Sierra's words, Madison quickly caught on that Theo had already handled things. Sof her anger

faded, but she still let out a huff.

"I knew Benson texting you out of nowhere wasn't anything good, but you actually believed him and wouldn't

even letcwith you! Good thing | trusted my gut and messaged Adrian, or you would've been completely

screwed tonight."

"Yeah, yeah, lesson learned. From now on, I'll listen to whatever you say, Maddy," Sierra replied, her voice soft

and sweet.

Madison grinned, then turned to Theo. "Appreciate it, Mr. Theo. Gotta hand it to you-family or not, you don't let

things slide."

Theo's gaze lingered on Sierra's face, his expression darkening slightly. His voice was low. "Still got here too

late."

Sierra caught his look and instinctively touched her cheek. Then, she smiled gently. "Not late. You were just in

time."

Madison noticed the way the two of them were looking at each other and couldn't help but smirk.

"Uncle Theo, you know Grandpa Edward and Mr. Liam will be pissed when they find out you hit him, right?" Sierra

asked softly, a trace of concern in her tone.

"If he did something wrong, he should face the consequences. He let someone hurt you, and that's on him. As

his elder, it's my job to set him straight. He won't dare say a word about this. Don't worry about me."

His voice was deep and steady, carrying a quiet strength. Sierra felt her worries ease a little.

"Good."

They were all part of the Gray family, and Sierra didn't want Theo to strain his relationship with his own family

because of her.

"See? Now that's a real man. Clear-headed, responsible-miles better than Benson, no competition," Madison

commented casually. Then, nudging Sierra's arm, she added, "Right, Sierra?"

Sierra caught the look in her friend's eyes and knew exactly what she was hinting at.

Of course, Theo was also looking at her, waiting for an answer.

She hesitated for a second, then gave a small nod without saying a word.

Theo was mature, composed, and carried himself with quiet authority. He gave people a sense of security, like no

matter how bad things got, he would handle it.

The second she nodded, something flickered in Theo's deep, dark eyes—something warm. The cold edge on his

face softened ever so slightly, his sharp features relaxing as if an iceberg had just begun to melt.
