"Try saying that again," Narik growled, his eyes burning with fury.
He marched toward Cecily, his hands clamped tightly around her throat.
"Do you believe I won't kill you if you say one more word? I'll do it right now, you spiteful, mean old woman." Cecily gasped, her face turning ashen as she struggled to breathe, k's gaze was filled with rage, his words laced with venom.
"Why should Elizabeth risk her life to give him a child when Leo is nowhere to be found?" Narik growled. "I know what you're trying to do. You want her dead to make way for Derick to take over Silvermoon. But as long as Leo and I are aime, there's no way in hell you're going to get away with it."
