“Nothing. I'm sorry, | just thought | saw someone | knew. | was trying to get a better look.” | said. It wasn't

completely a lie.

“Oh, where did they go? Maybe we could try and find them.” Greyson offered sweetly and | shook my head,

smiling

“No, it's fine. | was wrong. It wasn’t them.” He raised his brows in question but when I only smiled at him and

wiggled my brows, he burst out into laughter and began gently pullingagain.

We walked for a little more before we got to the most beautiful flower garden | had ever seen. My eyes lit up at

the sight and | dropped the Alpha’s hands that had been holding on to mine before inching forward to explore.

But the moment | let go of his hands, it felt like the eyes returned back to my frame. While | was amongst the

crowds a few moments ago it had been calm and there had been no weird feeling, but now it felt like a switch

had been flipped and everything was feeling weird again.

“What's your favorite flower?” Greyson asked by my side and | turned to him, offering him a small smile before

trying to concentrate on both of us.

“I don’t know yet. | have never received flowers or been around a lot of flowers before. But | like the look of most

of them. There's a certain aesthetic that comes with it.”

“Mmhm | agree. The Alpha responded but he looked distracted with the flower he was currently observing

| took a quick sweep of where we were to be sure that there was no one around because the eyes on my frame

refused to go

away.

| was about to focus my attention back on the flowers when | saw a man standing at the very end of the fields. At

the opening of the woods. Although he was at a distance from me, | could see that he had his eyes trained on

me.

He was dressed in all black and that made him appear even more ecrie. | didn’t recognize his face but he kept

looking atlike he knew me. In fact, | had a feeling that if it were not for the Alpha by my side then this man

would have been approaching me.

“Freya! Are you tired of listening totalk or something because we could just head back to the festival.”

Greyson said with a hint of annoyance in his tone. | brought my attention back to him,

“Goddess, no, not at all. | enjoy listening to you talk. Love it in fact. It's just that I've had this weird feeling of

eyes on my frand now there's a man at the end of the field, staring intently atand it’s just creepy.”

At my words, the Alpha whipped his head towards the direction 1 had spoken about and I did the same, but to

my utmost surprise there was no one there. It was almost as if the man had disappeared into thin air.

“It's okay, | believe you. They might have gone into the woods, but you have nothing to fear Freya” The Alpha

said, taking my face into his hands.

“I'm going to keep you protected always. No one is going to be able to hurt you or do anything bad to you. You're

safe withalways. I'm always going to protect you and Jessy.” The Alpha promised, pullinginto his chest

for a hug

| instantly relaxed into his arms, letting out a small relieved sigh while sniffling his shit, allowing his scent calm

down my frayed nerves. His words madefeel warm inside and it was unexplainable but beautiful

“Con let's head back.” He said, taking my hands in his.

“Let's dance please, I'll do anything” | promised, turning to the Alpha with a mischievous glint in my eyes and on

my lips.

“Anything?” He said huskily and a shiver went through my spine, but | nodded my head quickly.

“Alright then. We're dancing. He said, pullingtowards the group of people dancing and I chuckled.

Greyson wasn’t lying when he said that he couldn’t dance to save his life. The Alpha was terrible at dancing and |

could see the people around us stifling their laughters. Well | didn’t, | kept laughing so loudly especially when we

had to dance as a group in the sdance styles and the Alpha kept getting it all wrong.

He was a terrible dancer but | didn’t mind one bit, | still had a lot of fun, wiggling and shaking my butt in a weird

manner with him.

Once my feet and stomach was hurting too much from dancing and laughing at the Alpha, | pulled him away to

our previous spot and we settled on the grass still laughing at each other.

“You're a terrible dancer.” | commented, once | cdown from my laughing high.

“Well | told you so I'm not going to apologize for that. And you're not much better than | am so zip it.” He

responded and | laughed once more, adjusting so | could rest my head on his shoulders.

The Alpha placed a gentle kiss on my forehead and then he was connecting our fingers together.

“Are you having fun?” He asked.

“More fun than | have ever had in my entire life.”

“Well I'm really glad to hear that.”

| raised my head and the emotions that | saw in the Alpha’s eyes made my breath seize in my throat and my

heart began thrumming widely in its cage. Greyson looked like he had a lot to say and | feared what those things

may be.

Not because | thought they were going to be bad, well it was the opposite of that. | thought it might be good,

maybe even too good for me.

But after watchingfor a while without saying anything, he took my face in his hands and took my lips into a

kiss.

No words were exchanged between us, but that kiss was enough

It said everything we both couldn’t say. It was fulfilling in a way that | couldn't explain or describe.

And | was the happiest omega alive in that moment.
