“Well, this is it. | hope you get ssleep.” She stated before going off to do smore unfinished pack
business, leavingin the confines of yet another unfamiliar room.
It was big, and had a seated windowsill. A large wardrobe for clothes that | didn’t own, and a private on suite
bathroom to the right. It was a standard room, at normally would have no been more than enough, but it wasn't.
It made my skin crawl for sor son, and the feeling of pure loneliness shot through me.
| tossed and turned drastically in bed, my heart rate picking up whenever my sight caught onto the the pure
white ceiling, which remindedso much of the palace.

a soft knock sounded on the door. My head shot to the oak panel and widened my eyes when it opened revealing
a slightly disgruntled Lewis.
“Just breathe ok?” | didn’t even have to say anything to him for him to know what was happening to

truly was until | saw him stood in the doorway,
Tears pricked at my eyes as | remained sat in the unfamiliar bed, but the room suddenly felt so much
more comfortable at his presence alone.
“Hold me!” | demanded as one of my eyes betrayedand a single tear trickled out. It was in record speed that
the man reachedand pulled my into his chest. My arms wrapped around him effortlessly and my ear pressed
firmly against his own racing heart, which allowedto try and force my body to match his own breathing.”
“Why didn’t you send for me?” He asked which in turn simply madeangry. He hadn't seen or heard. from me
all day, and he’s the one that kickedout this morning, not the other way around.
“Why did you kick,out?” He went quiet suddenly and looked atwith a surprised expression. All of a
sudden my breathing regulated, and my temper won over. The man couldn't for the life of him decide where his
feelings lay. “Have | done something? Was it because of this morning? Because I'm
sorry if | made you feel uncomfortable.”
“No, no. You haven't done anything. It's me, it’s just too difficult forto be in the sroom as you.” Now it
was my turn to looked shocked. | thought he liked me, why wouldn't he want to stay with me?
“What do you mean? | thought you liked me? You said...” He cutoff, and raked his hands through
