Everyone in the class burst into laughter, in which Cindy fled into the classroom in embarrassment. After that, Cindy got to know that the boy was a senior student and the teacher's star pupil, and he was here to take the class for the teacher.
Back then, Cindy had no feelings at all towards Harley. For her, he was only a handsbut aloof upperclassman, and nothing else.
After all, Cindy had been surrounded by many pretty faces growing up, so Harley's handsface didn't impress her enough.
The first tthat Cindy felt different about him was on a miserable weekend. That day, Cindy stayed at school when her period suddenly started and made her quite uncomfortable.

She then went to the other extrafter attending high school and through sincidents, becoming unwilling to ask for help. As a result, she bit the bullet and went to the school hospital alone that weekend, even though she was suffering a lot.
However, she never expected that the heat of that summer and the pain in her abdomen would stop her from finishing the 1.2 miles’ trip.
Just when she was about to faint, Harley appeared out of the blue.
He seemed the usual aloof boy, and there was no tenderness or even emotion in his eyes when he asked, "Any discomfort?" Cindy would not trouble him if she was alright, but this tshe nodded her head, feeling overwhelmed by the pain.
After she struggled to nod her head, she even felt dazzled by the sun and the whole world started to turn upside down. A few seconds felt like an eternity now, but soon enough, when she was about to fall to the ground, Harley reached out and hugged her.
The sun was scorching hot that day, turning Juanton City into an oven.
In her dizziness, Cindy only knew that Harley had scooped her up in his arms and headed to the school hospital.
She didn't know if they were seen by anyone, for she could only see Harley. Every twhen she pulled herself out of the daze, she could see Harley frowning.
Harley took her to the hospital, waited when the doctor gave her a shot to relieve the pain and sent her back to her dormitory.

Harley still liked wearing white and clean clothes after that, and would still wear that very shirt after that day, only her blood had already been washed away.
From then on, Cindy would feel that her heartbeat quickened every tshe remembered how he had helped her that day.
Coming from a wealthy family and with a beautiful face, Cindy received much affection from many people, whether the affection was synthetic or not. And because she was never good at telling if a person was sincere, she had a struggling relationship when in high school and things fell apart in the end.
Harley was nothing like the people she knew. He seemed an arrogant and indifferent guy, yet he would feed those stray cats in school every week and would borrow her his umbrella while he himself got wet in the rain.
And surprisingly, he would spare those students who cheated in the exams and did not tell the teacher about it.
He was a loner whom no one could be close with, but he never refused it when she offered to share her favorite food with him.
Cindy had never met anyone like him, who appeared to be a good person and a bad guy at the stime. And eventually, Cindy found herself having a crush on the boy that she could not see through.
These all happened during Cindy's sophomore year, but Harley said that he had known her ten years ago, and Cindy's brother also said that...
