Alexis had to admit that Scarlett was indeed good at affecting one’s heart.

Frank came over with Tenton’s legal department. If Crain was not willing to withdraw the bulletins and apologize, they would receive a court summons the next day.

Alexis only wanted to help Scarlett teach Julie, the sly fox, a lesson and also create some trouble for Raymond. She wanted to make them pay for the grievances suffered by Scarlett at the Shaw Residence throughout the three years.

Since Alexis had been in the entertainment industry for nearly a decade, the thing she had done most was this kind of public opinion warfare where the truth was mixed with the false. When “fighting” against someone else, did people not always release bulletins to blackmail the other party?

Moreover, throughout his marriage with Scarlett of three years, Raymond did not keep a good distance from the opposite gender. He was not completely innocent for causing these photos to be taken.

photos to Scarlett?”

Frank did not expect the topic to be changed without warning. He could not react to the situation for a moment, so he asked following Alexis’ question, “Who?”

“Who else could it be if not Julie Woods? It’s fine if you want me to delete the bulletins, but you should also be able to ask Julie to retract the photos she sent to Scarlett!”

Frank was not able to do that. He was at a loss after finding out the sudden truth but at the end of the day, he had been Raymond’s secretary for seven to eight years. At this critical moment, he was still very smart. “Miss Carter, may I be so bold as to ask about your relationship with Miss Reed?”

“It’s none of your business!”

Frank left with his two secretaries. Seeing as they left, Alexis removed her shades and slapped her chest. “I was scared out of my wits!”

Nicole, who was on the side, simply could not stand it anymore. “You should at least pay attention to your image. What if someone sees you?”

“Elder Sister Nicole, don’t panic! Nobody is here, right? Ah, my phone is ringing, it’s from Lettie! I have to report the results of the battle to her!”

Nicole twitched her mouth. She closed the door snappily and left.

Alexis thought that Scarlett called to find out about the outcome. She was going to brag about herself but before she could say anything, she heard her faint voice coming from the phone. “Have someone remove the bulletins and stop buying trending topics. Raymond and I should come to an end.”

She was baffled. “… If you’re kidnapped, can you squeak once?”

“Stop fooling around, Alexa. I’m tired.”

She sounded quite exhausted indeed. Alexis pursed her lips and was reluctant, but she responded, “Alright, but don’t feel too awful. We’ll be beautiful on our own in the future; being single is too wonderful!”

“What do you mean by being single is too wonderful?”

A low male voice was heard. Alexis was shocked, and she looked up to see that Justin had unknowingly come. She immediately shrunk her neck and said, “I didn’t say anything!”

‘I’m weak, pitiful, and helpless!’

Scarlett smiled when she heard Justin’s voice. She hung up and turned around to go down to the kitchen. She planned to make a hearty and delicious dinner to comfort her wounded little soul.

After an hour… ‘Forget it, I’ll just order takeout!’

All of the bulletins were withdrawn. As such, the love triangle between Scarlett, Raymond, and Julie came to a screeching halt just as it reached its climax.

Even without the bulletins, Raymond still got someone to cover up the matter. By night time, the whole matter calmed down.

Despite that, Raymond could not sleep that night.

When Frank told him that the photos were from Julie, for some reason, he suddenly recalled Scarlett saying that he thought too highly of himself.

He did not feel anything when he heard it at that time. He thought that Scarlett was just frustrated and angry.

Now that the truth was out, Raymond somehow felt vexed.

‘Forget it, I’ll just smoke a cigarette and go to sleep.’

After that day, Scarlett kept a low profile for some time. Nobody talked about her anymore as though she had vanished.

Everyone thought that Scarlett retreated dejectedly because she was hurt by love and knew it was hopeless.

Although that was the truth, in reality, Scarlett only went to Epristan recently. She experienced skiing, bungee jumping, surfing, and gliding, and she was enjoying her time very much.

After a month of wandering about, Scarlett planned to return to the country after two days. She was holding Alexis’ list in the duty-free store to help her buy bags and lipsticks that had been sold out in their country. All of a sudden, a familiar male voice was heard, and she was quite surprised.

She turned to look and saw that it was Juan Henderson, another one of Crains’ famous young hunk at the moment.
