Scarlett looked at Raymond. The smile on her face faded. "I don't need you to do this for me." She could do it herself without help from anyone else.
"| just want to help you." Raymond sensed Scarlett's indifference. He pursed his thin lips with resignation.
She had tightly closed the door to her heart. It had been more than eight months since they were divorced, but he still couldn't melt her heart.
She seemed to have no feelings for him anymore.

He didn't know Scarlett well, but during the eight months after the divorce, he gradually found that she was not hard-hearted; she was just protecting herself. He needed stto win her heart back.
She spent three years trying to get closer to him. He wouldn't give up after pursing her for only eight months.
What was more, he couldn't let her go.
"But | don't want you to help me." They were both stubborn. There was an awkward silence, but no one gave in.
Raymond could give in on anything but this one.
Scarlett didn't intend to force Raymond or argue with him because that would make her unhappy.
They were deadlocked for a moment. Scarlett moved." How much did you pay for the bracelet?" Raymond glanced at her. "I bought it at the original price." Scarlett knew that it was not the price at which Kyleigh sold the bracelet.
She smiled. "Can you lendyour phone?" Raymond took out his cell phone and handed it to her.
Scarlett took it. "Password?" "0716." Hearing this, Scarlett paused.

The phone was unlocked. She found his PayPal account, took out her phone, and transferred 280,000 dollars to him.
Raymond remembered Scarlett left him alone in the suburb the last tshe took his phone. His eyebrows moved. "Scarlett?" A moment later, Scarlett locked his phone and put it back on the table in front of him.
"Well, I'll be busy with business later. You have to leave yourself." She was asking him to go. Raymond knew that he would only make Scarlett angry if he stayed any longer.
He picked up his phone. He didn't forget about the appointment with Ethen. "When will you be free?" Scarlett took a sip of coffee. Finally, she compromised. "Since you've fixed it for tomorrow night, I'll go tomorrow night." "I'll cover to pick you up." "Don't bother. I'll go by myself." Raymond didn't push his luck and nodded. "See you tomorrow night." Scarlett got up. "Goodbye, Mr. Shaw." As Raymond walked to the door, he looked back at her. His lips moved, but he didn't say anything. After giving her a deep look, he left the villa.
Just as he walked out, Scarlett closed the door and turned back.
Just as she walked up to the second floor, the sound of the car engine cfrom outside. Scarlett raised an eyebrow, walked to the balcony, and watched the black car drive away. She then withdrew her eyes and went up to study on the third floor to prepare for the video conference.
Things quieted down in two days. Knowing that Scarlett wanted to sue them, Kyleigh panicked. Dwayne told Scarlett that Kyleigh wanted to see her. Scarlett refused.
After Raymond left, Scarlett asked Katherine to cancel the appointment with Ethen.
