When Scarlett woke up, it was almost 1 a.m.
She touched her forehead. Her fever was gone. She felt much better, and her throat was not as painful as before.
It seemed that sleeping was useful.
She was in good spirits and in a good mood. The room was very quiet. The rain had stopped, and the sky was much brighter. Scarlett raised her eyebrows. After looking outside for a while, she withdrew her eyes and got out of bed.
She was thirsty.

She felt much more comfortable after waking up and almost forgot that Raymond was still at her home.
He stayed in her house and even brought his computer and documents here as if he were the owner of the house.
Scarlett walked over. Before she could speak, he suddenly looked up at her. "Wait a minute. I'm in a meeting." Scarlett was stunned.
She was so embarrassed.
She blushed but soon recovered.
Scarlett leaned down and picked up her glass on the table. She calmly walked to the water fountain as if she were just here to get a glass.
Raymond looked at her, lowered his head, and slightly curved his lips. After a moment, his face turned serious again. "Go on." Raymond's video conference didn't last long. Scarlett was pouring the second glass of water when he had already turned off his computer and cover. "Do you feel better?" Scarlett avoided his hand. "When will you leave my house?" Raymond said after a pause, "There is chicken soup in the kitchen. Do you want to drink it?" Scarlett smiled with annoyance. "Raymond, do you know what you look like?" "What do | look like?" "A rascal." Raymond grunted.
He was now unashamed.
Alexander was right. He couldn't win her heart with his pride.
How much was his pride worth? If he could get Scarlett back, he was willing to give up all his property.
Scarlett was shocked by Raymond's brazenness. She looked up at him. "Are you going to go back on your word?" He promised her yesterday, and now he broke it.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmWas he this kind of person? "I'm not going back on my word." Yesterday he lost, but Scarlett didn't ask him not to pursue her again.
She just said that they had nothing to do with each other, but he didn't want to let her go.
He would rather be shameless and despicable than lose her. He just wanted her back.
They kept silent for a moment. Raymond said, "I'll get you a bow! of chicken soup." "Raymond, | want you to leave my house right now!" He pursed his lips. "Sorry, but | can't." Scarlett sneered. Did he want her to say "it's okay"? Raymond went into the kitchen and filled a bowl with warm chicken soup. Scarlett watched him cout with the chicken soup. She had an impulse to throw the bowl.
Yet she finally resisted it. She felt bored because it was useless. Raymond was simply shameless.
"It's a little hot. Let it cool first." He put down the chicken soup and said considerately.
Scarlett stood still. "Raymond, what the hell do you want?" She could do nothing with him.
"lI want to chase you." He looked up at her seriously and stubbornly.
"We've split up. There's no use crying over spilled milk." "But we can get back together." "Even if we were together again, | wouldn't forget the past. | don't even have happy memories with you." She just once carried a torch for him.
