Scarlett smiled at her, "Come on! It's going to get cold later." Katherine was seen through by Scarlett. She was embarrassed to see Scarlett. She kept her head down and focused on her steak.
After lunch, Scarlett and Katherine parted ways.
Scarlett got no business in the afternoon, so she didn't go back to the office. She bought a bunch of flowers and went back to her villa.
The vases in the house had been empty for a long time, so Scarlett brought back a large bunch of flowers today.
The sunshine was lovely in the afternoon. The air conditioning was turned on. Wonderful piano music filled up the room. Scarlett was sitting on a blanket and arranging the flowers in leisure.
Raymond came up the stairs. He saw Scarlett wearing a dark curry halter dress sitting on the blanket kneeling down and carefully pruning flowers.

Not far from her, the stereoes were playing soothing piano music, and sunlight came through the floor-to-ceiling windows and sprayed a few inches in front of Scarlett.
Raymond stopped at the stairs. From his position, he could only see Scarlett's face from the rght side and her head was hanging down a little.
Scarlett's long hair was casually tied into a braid, with a few strands of hair by her ears. A bunch of yellow roses was scattered around the coffee table. The roses were right next to her face, bringing out her fair skin.
Suddenly Raymond remembered one day about six months after they got married, he went back to the Shaw family residence at about the same hour to get some files. As he walked up to the third floor, he heard something on the balcony. Somehow he walked over and saw Scarlett there with a small watering can, leisurely watering her plants.
Scarlett seemed to like flowers and plants. In the three years since they were married, the third-floor balcony had been turned into a small garden, and Scarlett had planted many potted plants in it, with several roses and daffodils, making the balcony full of vitality.
The housekeeper said Scarlett spent most of her time in the house attending to her flowers. Tiffany once destroyed a pot of her flowers and Scarlett smashed the plucked pot at Tiffany's feet right away. And she warned Tiffany that if she ever touched the flowers again, the pot would be smashed on her.
Afterward, they got divorced. And Raymond found that the plants and flowers were gone from the balcony and the room. The balcony was restored to its original cleanliness and tidiness. But every time he passed by it, he felt that something was missing.
Indeed, something was missing.
The house needed a mistress, and he needed a wife.
Raymond collected his thoughts and walked over. He leaned down and hugged her from behind, "They smell so good." Scarlett sensed it when Raymond approached her. But she didn't expect him to bend right down and take her in his arms.
The man's head rested on her shoulder. His stubble stabbed her neck. She felt some slight tingly and tickle.
Scarlett inclined her head and asked," What are you doing here at this hour?" Actually, Raymond had been quite busy lately.

Not to mention that Ryker was now making a lot of trouble for Raymond, and Teuton's new projects for the second half of the year would keep Raymond busy.
Raymond buried his head in Scarlett's shoulder for a while. Then he got up and sat down next to her. He picked up a thorny rose and asked, "Didn't you used to like to grow flowers on the balcony? Why don't you plant some now?" He didn't answer her question but asked her another one.
Scarlett trimmed the yellow roses in her hand and placed them in a vase. She took some small white daisies and put them in the vase too.
When it was done, Scarlett looked up at him, "It's not an easy thing to take care of flowers and plants." When she was married to raymond and lived in the Shaw family residence, she had no job, so she had a lot of free time. Jean and Tiffany often picked a quarrel with her, but Scarlett didn't want to get in trouble with them, so she spent her time on the balcony with flowers and plants.
It was not that she liked flowers and plants so much. She just wanted to kill some time in that way. And seeing those beautiful flowers and plants indeed made her feel much better.
Raymond understood Scarlett. It was sad to mention the past. He handed Scarlett the flowers in his hand and changed the subject. "What would you like to eat tonight?" Then he paused for a moment, "I'll cook for you."
