Stephen and Jake were much more mature than him, and it took them less tto accept Raymond's accident.
Not blaming them, Alexander just occasionally felt upset at the thought that people were gradually forgetting Raymond.
Unlike the others, Scarlett loved Raymond so much. For his sake, she had joined Tenton and worked so hard.
She hustled day in and day out without complaining, but Alexander could tell her intention. Probably, Scarlett planned to protect Tenton and return it to Raymond intact when he cback.
Surprisingly, such a photo appeared early in the morning and triggered all kinds of assumptions in the circle.

However, if Scarlett were with another man, didn't it mean that she had given up on Raymond too? Was he the last person still waiting like a fool? It was the first tthat Scarlett saw him like this. She lightly pursed her lips and said, "I feel you." Alexander heaved a sigh of relief and asked, "How is he doing in Bomsville? Is he all right?" Scarlett didn't want to continue such a heavy topic either. Now that he steered the conversation away, she responded with a smile, "Great, | think." After a pause, she added, "Oh, right. He's called Chris now, and he has a fiancee named Camille." Alexander stared at Scarlett's smiling face. For a moment, he couldn't tell if she was joking.
There seemed to be no such information in those files.
Could it be that he had omitted it? Alexander couldn't remember anything, and this was an awkward issue.
"Maybe he doesn’t want that either." Scarlett laughed it off, but Alexander was on pins and needles.
Fortunately, the waiter pushed the cart over to serve the dishes.
Once again, Alexander changed the subject. "There is an auction later. Would you like to calong? Verbal apologies are empty. I'll give you a gift." Scarlett was not short of money, but in Alexander's mind, compensation and apology were not sincere enough.
It just so happened that he remembered an auction mentioned by his secretary.
Alexander believed that there would be one that Scarlett liked among the many items.
Scarlett had no reason to turn down a gift.
After dinner, the two drove to the venue in their own cars.
In fact, Scarlett had received an invitation, but Katherine declined it under her instructions.
She changed her mind and followed Alexander there since the latter would foot the bills.

Among the ten items to be auctioned today, there were two discontinued brand bags for collection and one necklace. The rest were antiques and paintings.
Not a fan of antiques and paintings, Scarlett had sinterest in the bags.
Alexis was a hoarder of bags, and the two bags here were rare in the market.
A lot of guests, who knew each other, attended the auction tonight.
With a smile, Scarlett greeted them, took her seat, and checked the pamphlet for the auction tof the bags.
After confirming it, she directly handed the pamphlet to Alexander and said," Alexander, | want this bag. Thank you." Alexander really wanted to make amends. Not to mention a bag that cost two million dollars, he was even willing to buy one that cost 20 million.
"Consider it done." With that, he glanced at the pamphlet and said, "There is another bag. | can get it for you too." Scarlett declined with a smile, "It's good enough. I'll get it myself." She had her own principles.
