Chapter 46 Another missio
Just as he got to his car. His phone rang and he smiled when he saw that it was Elle calling. He answered the call immediately.
"Baby.." He called.
"Baby, I'm.. I'm so sorry with the way I spoke to you earlier, something came and I was pissed.." She said, whimpering like she
was crying.
Tyson's heart melted immediately upon hearing her sobs.
"No, no, it's fine. I understand. I understand how you must feel. What's it?" He asked.
"My mum, she fell sick again and I thought I was going to lose her but thankfully the sickness was not so much. I was just
heartbroken at the moment. Sweetheart, I'm so sorry. Please forgive me.." She cried again and He sighed.
"I told you I understand Elle. Just that, next time, tell me. I'm not your boyfriend for nothing.." He said and then smiled.
"Okay, you need to take your beauty rest. Goodnight and sweet dreams.."
"Goodnight.."
"I love you.."
"Love you too.." Tyson then hung up.
"Yess!"
"Now I can sleep peacefully.

Elle dropped the phone and looked at Kiera who was already sleeping. Why wouldn't she? When she has talked so much.
She kept on talking about the handsome stranger. It was the first time Elle saw her daughter being swayed by a guy she barely
knows. And even just meeting him for some minutes, she already came to love him.
Elle smiled and touched her hair and then kissed her forehead.

Just looking at her reminds her of Jason. She got most of his looks, her eyes, her pointed nose and her heart shaped lips.
"Baby, I promise you. You will get to know your father soon and I'm sure your happiness will be full because of it.." She smiled
again and then tried to stand up but Kiera held her right hand firmly refusing to let her go.
"Mummy, please stay with me. Don't go. I missed you so much. I missed you sleeping beside me.." Kiera said and opened her
eyes.
Elle sighed.
"What of her mission tonight!"
Nevertheless she still nodded.
"Fine then.."
She lay on the bed and Kiera hugged her tightly. Elle then covered themselves with the duvet. She kissed Kiera's hair again.
"Love you.." She said.
Kiera opened her eyes and then looked up at her.
"Mummy, if I had a daddy, we would have been complete right?"
Elle's smiles altered.
"Go to sleep princess, I'm sure you are tired.." Elle said and then turned off the lamp.
"Okay, mummy.."

JASON'S MANSION.
Laughter was heard from the living room. Jason sighed and stood up with the bottle of wine.
"You are really mad!" He told Nick who was laying on the chair, three buttons of his shirt unbuttoned.
"I told you I'm the guy..."

"But you're so heartless. How could you deceive five girls that you were going to marry and they also fell for your trap.." Jason
laughed again. His ribcage was already hurting with the way he was laughing.
"I told you girls are so easy to deceive. And trust me, they were all sweet. So sad I dumped them after one night with them.."
Nick said and sat up.
"I could introduce you to some girls but..."
"I'm not interested.." Jason cut him off.
"Ooh! Don't tell me it's that Asanel girl again. But wait, Jay, you accepted to marry that brat Giselle?" Nick asked.
"Yeah.." Jason said and fell on the couch.
"You fool! I thought you have decided never to push through with the wedding!" Nick said.
"I just.."
"You just what?"
"No, this is about someone who will be your life partner. That Giselle is a brat, a stalking one for that matter and don't tell me you
don't know she flirts around with men. Gosh! When I see her, I will strangle her to death.." Nick said dramatically and Jason
laughed.
"Come on, I'm not joking..' Nick frowned and Jason smiled.
"I know.."
'But why did you do it?' Nick asked and Jason remained silent.
"Well I was angry when I took that decision. But now I want to use it to do something good for myself. Maybe I'll have peace after
that.." Jason said.
"What's that about?"
"My mum's death.." He said.
"What?"

"You said your mum committed suicide.." Nick said.
"Never.."
"The doctor told me something else after carrying the autopsy test on her.."
"I don't understand.." Nick said and Jason stared on.
FLASHBACK.
Nine years old Jason sat in the room crying heavily holding his mum's cold hand. She had already been pronounced dead but he
couldn't accept it.
He doesn't want to believe his mum is gone already.
"Mum! Mummy! Why did you have to leave me? Why? I love you so much mum? Please come back to me for my sake. I know
you and dad are always fighting, mum please.." He continued sobbing.
Shortly the doctor walked in.
"Son.." He called and Jason looked up at him.
"What do you want?" He asked coldly.
"Your mum's autopsy results are out.." He said and Jason stood up immediately.
"What's it?" He asked.
"I'm sorry but we found something different. It was like someone strangled her, we found the fingerprints on her neck but then I
epuld like to ask a question, does your mum fight with your dad regularly?"
"Yes.." He replied and the doctor sighed.
"I'll get back to you.." He says and walked out.

"What? Is that all that happened?" Nick said and stood up too.

"Too bad for me. I don't believe the doctor because back then, the doctor was arrested for slander. Another autopsy reports

came out and it says my mum really committed suicide. I believed my dad not until three months after the wedding, my dad
brought home a woman claiming he had married her. She also had a son who was one year younger than me. Dad claimed he's
not his real son. I was devastated and heartbroken cause it took him three months to forget about mum and on mom's death
anniversary. Dad was no where to be found. He was celebrating his birthday with his new wife.. " Jason said and clenched his
fists tightly.
"I went along with the flow and met Asanel. When her dad died, she told me that my dad was responsible for her father's death
but I never believed her and she also never accepted me. I was still young then, foolish and stupid. Until I came home five years
ago, I heard mum and dad talking about not letting me that Tyson is their real son.."
"Then it dawned on me that Dad was cheating mum. I confronted him about it but he told me that it was a mistake. He was drunk
and it happened. He had to take responsibility of the child no matter what. He said mum found out after nine years and they
began to argue but he didn't know mum would commit suicide because of that.." Jason explained. His eyes were already red and
teary.
Nick sighed and hugged him tightly.
"I really regret not listening to Asanel back then. Maybe I wouldn't have lost her early.." Jason said and broke the hug.
"And now, the video about him recently crashed my remaining trust in him. I think he was involved with Asanel and her mum's
death.."
"What?!" Nick yelled.
"Jay, I know you hate your dad but no, you say that with no evidences. Who knows if it's not him who killed Asanel and her
parents? What if Asanel's death is also an accident?"
"The only thing you can accuse him of is killing your mum and it has not been proven yet. What if the doctor was also wrong too?
Jay, the only thing your dad did wrong was cheating on your mum leading her to commit suicide.." Nick said and Jason sighed.
"You are right in a way. But then I have to reopen the investigation of my mum's death. But if I find out he's involved with it. I will
not spare him and his mistress..' Jason said with clenched fists.

Elle smiled as she watched her reflection in the mirror. She brought out her airpod and connected it to Damien.
"Dam, I'm ready..' She said.
"How's Kiera?" He asked.
"She's fine. I had to make sure she's deeply asleep before I could start dressing. I'm sorry I'm not with you today..'
"Nah, it's okay. It's better you take Kiera and Lady red to another mansion that is unknown so they would be safe.." He said and
Elle smiled.
"So what's happening?"
"They are going to be shipping the drugs at Ocampo port. We have to get there on time.." He said and she checked her
wristwatch.
"Okay, I'm already coming out.." She said and walked out of her room. She walked into Kiera's room gently and found her still
sleeping.
She closed the door and then walked out of the mansion. As soon as she got outside, Damien was waiting for her.
"Let's go.." He said and she hopped into the car.
She got her phone and dailed someone's number.
"Sabrina!" She called.
"I need your help!" She added.

James sat in the balcony smoking, his eyes looking around. His phone rang and then he grabbed it and answered the call.
"Senator Leo.."
"How's the shipment going? I don't want anything to mess up this time!" The thick male voice said.

'Of course Senator, I assure you. The goods are going to get into Mr Chang's hands. And don't worry about the girls. We have
found some new girls this week and they will used for the bidding on friday.." James smirked.
"Good. Kidnap more girls and children this time. Our customers are in dire need of children - maids. They are willing to pay any
amount for it.."
"Okay senator.." He said and hung up with a wicked smile playing on his lips.
