"That's hardly arguing, more like bickering between lovers. Even though you two seem to clash, it's clear as day there's a deep affection between you," Larissa observed.
Leanne looked down, twiddling her fingers. "There's nothing between us anymore. It's all gone." Her tone was casual, perhaps unbeknownst to herself, but Larissa could see through the calm facade of the regret hidden beneath.
