He just kept staring at Ellie in this extremely ambiguous position.
“Mr. Warren!” Ellie said anxiously. Her forehead was covered with sweat.
But Alex maintained his position and just stared at Ellie. He still didn’t speak, nor did he let go of her.
Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. Ellie panicked even more.
She grabbed the lapel of Alex’s suit jacket, pushed and struggled. She reminded him in a low voice, “Mr. Warren,
