Chapter 1005
'Is Aurora not here?’ Vicky thought.
As Vicky wondered, she suddenly noticed that the room's door was not completely closed and was left with a
narrow gap.
Out of curiosity, Vicky pushed the door open and walked in.
The room was pitch black without any lights.
'Could it be...?1 Vicky's heart skipped a beat as she wondered.
She did not want to see anything unpleasant. Standing in the living room, she called out, ’Miss Starling, are you
there?"

After waiting for three seconds and hearing no response from Aurora, Vicky placed her clothes on the sofa and
prepared to leave, only to be held abruptly from behind.
Before she could react, the person pushed her onto the sofa and kissed her forcefully.
Vicky was startled and was about to call for help. ’Hel- Umph!"
The person instantly covered her mouth with one hand. In the dark room, nothing could be seen clearly.
The air was filled with the scent of alcohol and a faint, but familiar presence.
The man's touch was scorching hot, as if capable of melting everything.
All her struggles and cries for help were eventually swallowed by the darkness.
The next day, Vicky woke up with a splitting headache.
She felt like she had just had a terrifying nightmare.
Vicky attempted to sit up, as she usually did when getting out of bed to freshen up.
Suddenly, she realized that there was an arm wrapped around her waist.
Vicky's eyes widened, and memories flooded back like a tidal wave. Realization dawned on her that it was not a
dream.
She turned her head sharply to look at the man's face.
Due to her sudden movement, the man was awoken and slowly opened his eyes. His pitch-black eyes showed no
signs of drowsiness. That gaze seemed profound and was as desolate as an endless, icy abyss.
Vicky trembled violently and stuttered, "Tyler... How... How did you end up here?’
The man's eyebrow raised slightly, and his expression turned cold. "Vicky, I should be the one asking that question.

Vicky tried to get up, but the arm around her waist held her down firmly, preventing her from escaping. She could
only nestle helplessly in his embrace.

His expression remained cold. "So, you were the one who drugged me."
Her eyes widened. "What are you talking about?"
Vicky had not drugged him, and Aurora was the one who told her to have the change of clothes sent to this exact
room.
"Tyler, you are mistaken. I didn't do this."
"Who did it, then?"
Vicky's mind went blank, and she lost all ability to organize her thoughts. The only thing she was certain of was
Aurora's involvement in the matter.
