Chapter 1703
Vicky looked at Tyler in surprise. "Are you coming along?' "I don’t have anything to do today, so I can keep you
company,” Tyler replied calmly.
Vicky instinctively tried to refuse. "You don't have to.”
Tyler frowned. "Why not?"
"I accepted having Jade around to protect me when I go out; I never agreed to let you follow me around," Vicky
stated firmly.
Tyler was unhappy with her explanation, but he managed to control his temper. "I'm not just following you around.

Vicky did not believe him.
"As the child's father, I can better ensure your safety," he added.
It seemed Tyler had made up his mind and would not change his decision regardless of how Vicky protested. He
even added, "You can think of me as any regular bodyguard."
'Any regular bodyguard, huh? He's anything but ordinary with his looks,' Vicky thought and felt that he was being
unreasonable.
Running late, Vicky could not afford to argue any further, so she reluctantly agreed.
Once inside the car, she settled into the back seat.
Tyler turned to look at her. "Why aren't you sitting in the front?"
"You're just a regular bodyguard. It's perfectly normal for me to sit in the backseat, right?" she coldly replied.
Tyler fell silent.
After a while, he started the car.
Half an hour later, Vicky arrived at the coffee shop she agreed to meet Aurora.
As Vicky reached for the door handle, Tyler beat her to it and opened the door for her.
She paused, turned to look at him, and then entered the coffee shop silently.
Aurora had arrived early and was waiting inside. Her eyes lit up when she saw Vicky. "Vicky, over here!"
Vicky walked over to her.

When Aurora saw the man following Vicky, she froze and struggled to hide the disgust on her face. "Why is he here
too?"
Vicky sat across Aurora. "Don't mind him. He's just a bodyguard now."
"A bodyguard?" Aurora raised an eyebrow.
"Yes. He's here to ensure my safety."
Aurora eyed Tyler mockingly. "Mister Hart sure knows how to spice things up."
Tyler ignored Aurora’s sarcasm, pulled out a chair, and was about to sit next to Vicky.
"Vicky, isn't it a bit inappropriate for a bodyguard to sit with his employer?" Aurora commented.
Vicky knew Aurora was deliberately making things difficult for Tyler, so she looked up at him. "Aurora isn’t used to
having you sit with us."
Since Tyler had defined himself as a bodyguard, he could not exactly contradict her and had to find a compromise.
