There seemed to be a voice inside Persephone that said, "Don't do this. It's someone else's money."
She recalled what Wynn had told her. Morpheus' life hung on the edge every day working at the underground
arena. The slightest mistake could cost him his life.
However, the audience watching the competitions were avid gamblers who cared little for the fighters' lives,
deriving pleasure from the adrenaline of gambling.
Her hands shook.

After some thought, she held onto the credit card.
"What's wrong?" Wynn asked softly.
"I-I'm sorry." She turned to face him. "I suddenly remembered that this is Morpheus' hard-earned money. Even
though he gave me his card, I shouldn't spend it thoughtlessly. Also, taking credit for using his money to buy you
things doesn't make sense..."
She was sincere, "Wynn, can we buy these later? When I have the money, I—"
"Of course!" He smiled happily. "You silly girl. Why worry about that? Even if you have money, we won't buy this!
They're not good anyway. Only foolish wealthy people who know nothing would fall for their trap..."
"Umm."
She forced a smile.
Just then, the shop assistant's rude voice echoed. "Are you buying or not?"
"No." Wynn waved. "We're going to check out other stores."
"You got me to bring the stuff, and you refuse to buy them at the very last minute. Don't come here if you can't
afford us! So pretentious." the shop assistant muttered to herself, but she was quite loud.
Persephone heard every word loud and clear.

The shop assistant scoffed arrogantly.
"Since you're working here, it's your job to look for the items for your customers! Whether we buy it or not, it's the
consumer's right. What right do you have to be making comments?"
"Hey, can't I talk to myself? Consumers have the right to choose whether to buy, and shop assistants have no right
to speak?"
"You do, but what you say has to fit your identity!"
