Chapter 471
When Charlie arrived at the restaurant, Theresa was sitting by the window with her coat on the back of the chair. In
a sweater, she fed Old Mr. Calsis sitting across the table and he ate very carefully.
Charlie came over, pulled out a chair, and sat down next to her.
Seeing him, Theresa gave a bright smile. “Charlie.”
Charlie replied, “Hmm.”
Theresa called the waiter and picked up the menu, “Look at the menu.”

Theresa was a little uncomfortable. “Why are you staring at me? Do I have something on my
face?”
Charlie chuckled. He shouldn’t have taken Sarah’s words to heart, but he was curious about Theresa. He wished she
would tell him everything honestly. After all, he really wanted to be with
her.
Charlie asked as Theresa sipped her soup, “How is Grandpa?”
“The doctor said he is much better now.”
Charlie glanced at Old Mr. Calsis and said with a smile, “He’s gotten more sober and rarely made
a scene since you’ve been here.”
Old Mr. Calsis had really been yelling and making a scene.
Theresa smiled back. “I’m lucky.” She thought it was just a coincidence and that she was so
lucky.
Charlie asked, “By the way, when are you bringing your children home? You said they were at your dad’s, but I
didn’t see them there yesterday.” He had just realized that he really hadn’t seen her children at Cameron’s
Residence. ‘Why didn’t she bring them out on her dad’s birthday? Was
she afraid I’d see them?’
Theresa choked on her soup and coughed. “Why do you bring this up all of a sudden?”

care about your own children! I told you I would treat them as my own children no matter who their father was. You
don’t have to hide them,” Charlie said sincerely.
It reminded Theresa of the lies she had told him. He had rarely mentioned it and she had almost forgotten. Now
she got so nervous that she felt her heart pounding. In fact, she had wanted to
tell him about it recently. She didn’t want to hide the secret anymore. It was so exhausting. However, she hesitated.
She was afraid Charlie would hate her and lose interest in her. She didn’t think he would fall completely in love with
her. Even Roderick, who had always wanted her to be with Charlie, sounded unsure today. She looked at Charlie,
lost for words momentarily.
