Chapter 360
The man with a gloomy face, who had been quite gentle just now, looked very funny.
Theresa went upstairs and looked at Cristina who was sitting aside weakly, defeated, totally different from just now.
“Are you okay?”
Cristina glanced at her and leaned sideways against the couch, holding the pillow, “I think I’m dying.” Even she
herself had no idea what she had been doing. She only knew that she had just done it in her excitement.
Theresa said, “I just saw Eugene go out to smoke. He didn’t seem to look well.”
Hearing this, Cristina glanced at Theresa as her eyes lit up, “For real?”
Theresa nodded, “Yeah. It seems he hasn’t forgotten about you either. You’ve managed to irritate him.”
Cristina said, “He deserves this.” For some reason, she was in a much better mood.
Theresa looked at Cristina and sighed. If a woman still followed a man’s every move, it was

Just then, Charlie appeared at the door. With a grim face, he instructed Jonathan, “Get this
woman out of here, I don’t want to see her again.” Once remembering what Cristina had just done, he thought that
Cristina should not stay in this house.
Hearing Charlie’s words, Cristina stared at him warily.
Theresa looked at Charlie and said, “Charlie, it’s not a big deal. Cristina was just joking with you.”
“Joking?” Charlie sneered, “You think she looked like she was joking? I don’t want to see her in this house again.”
After finishing this, Charlie left in his wheelchair.
Jonathan looked at Cristina and said, “Miss Lagarde, please.” He had to obey Mr. Calsis’s order.
Cristina looked at Jonathan. Usually, she would leave at once if she was told to. But now …
Eugene was here, so she didn’t want to leave. She then glanced at Theresa as if she was asking, “What should I
do?”
Seeing Cristina not moving, Jonathan said once again, “Miss Lagarde.” If Cristina wouldn’t leave,
he had to have someone take her out.
Theresa glanced at Jonathan and said, “Jonathan, Cristina has something important to do here. Please let her stay
here with the kids, at least for Leonard and Ben’s sake.”
Jonathan was surprised by the friendship between these two women. ‘Theresa is speaking up
for Cristina? Aren’t they supposed to be rivals in love?‘ He said, “Madam, this is Mr. Calsis’s order, I can do nothing
about it. You know what Mr. Calsis thinks of Miss Lagarde.” Even after the two children had returned to Calsis’s
Residence, Charlie had never been nice to Cristina! “I’ll go talk to Charlie.” After saying this to Jonathan, Theresa
walked out the door. Seeing her determined look, Jonathan took a glance at Cristina and had to listen to Theresa for

Charlie had gone back to his room.

The clothes he had just taken off had been thrown on the floor. He seemed to feel disgusted to
have been touched by Cristina.
Theresa walked over to Charlie, looking at him with a smile, “How come I didn’t know about your fetish about
cleanliness?”
Charlie looked up at her, “That Cristina is crazy! I have nothing to do with her, don’t make an issue of it.”
Theresa froze for a moment, having not expected Charlie to get so angry and the first thing he would have done to
be explaining to her. Looking at Charlie, she suddenly weakened and said in a soft voice, “You’re afraid that I’ll
misunderstand?”
Charlie took out the clothes and put them on in front of her, “Of course I am.”
Theresa reached out to help Charlie get dressed, saying, “Maybe Cristina is not the kind of
person you think. You know she usually doesn’t bother you, there should be some reason for her
to behave like this. And Leonard hasn’t felt any better yet, can you not drive her away for the moment?”
