Chapter 362
Jonathan who worked for Charlie by his side could feel the obvious change in Charlie.
Charlie was now treating Theresa more and more nicely! He could soon be persuaded by Theresa into changing his
mind.
Theresa went back to Leonard and Ben’s room and said to Cristina, “Charlie has agreed to let you stay.”
“Really?” Cristina was delighted for a moment but then suddenly a little skeptical, looking at
Theresa, “Is he such a pushover?”
“Kind of.”
“You let him touch you?” Cristina had a pair of sharp eyes.

didn’t admit it, “Who told you that?”
“Where’s the lipstick you just put on?” Cristina stared at her.
Theresa was speechless. ‘Shit, I forgot about that.‘ She went into the bathroom, looked at the
lipstick that had almost been rubbed off, and hurried to put on some more.
When she came out, Cristina who was sitting on the couch, folding her arms stared at her, “Tell me the truth, how
far are you two going?”
“There’s nothing between us.”
Cristina sneered and rolled her eyes as if saying she was a liar. “Yesterday you couldn’t get along with him at all and
were almost kicked out by him. While today he forgave you so easily just for a few words of yours. I deeply doubt
that you two have already fallen in love with each other.”
“What are you talking about?” Theresa said, “He and I are getting a divorce.”
“Do you have to?” Cristina stared curiously at Theresa.
Theresa nodded, “Yes.”
“Then why did you let him touch you?”
“I did it for you.”
Cristina was about to say something when Charlie was pushed past the door by Jonathan.
Theresa saw Charlie pass with a gloomy face. ‘Uh… Did he hear that? “I did it for you.” He heard this, didn’t he?‘
For some reason, Theresa had a sudden urge to slap herself across the face. When she had said that, it had
seemed as if she had really taken advantage of him just now though she had not thought that way. She just hadn’t

afraid that she would have misunderstood. She could sense that he cared about her! Unlike before, he now seemed
to really … love her. Maybe this feeling was not very strong, but this man really cared about her.
Theresa checked the time and chatted with Cristina for a while before taking the two children
downstairs to have dinner.
Leonard was still ill, but… had gotten much better by now. And after he had been lying in his bedroom all day,
Theresa also wanted him to go downstairs for a walk.
In the dining room, everyone had been seated. Today, Eugene was a guest and also Rose’s uncle, so Rose had also
come back especially for him. Today, it was very lively at the table.
Theresa paid attention to no one but Charlie. She had not been at ease in her heart upstairs just now, feeling a little
sorry for him.
