Chapter 373
Theresa got angry at once. [I’ll bring the children.] She wondered if Eugene knew who Sarah really was. She didn’t
think he knew about Sarah’s relationship with Charlie. After hanging up, she asked Cristina, who was waiting for her
in the car, “Charlie and Eugene are going to have lunch together. Do you want to join us?” “No.” Cristina lowered
her head and wiped her eyes. Since Sarah and Eugene were so close, she didn’t want to embarrass herself.
“Are you giving up so soon?” Theresa frowned at Cristina.

What do you think Eugene will do when he finds out about Sarah’s relationship with Charlie?”
Eugene was Pat’s brother–in–law and had a good relationship with Charlie while Sarah was Charlie’s ex–fiancée who
had humiliated him.
Cristina’s mood changed for the better and she quickly wiped her eyes. “Yes! I almost forgot!”
Theresa smiled. “You’re blinded by your feelings.”
“I don’t have any feelings for him!” Cristina quickly denied it.
Theresa gave the driver the address and asked him to drive them there.
It was an upscale restaurant with a nice ambiance. Eugene and Sarah took a cab there and the waiter opened the
door for them at the entrance.
Sarah took Eugene’s hand and Eugene glared at her. “Let go.” He had just acted in front of Theresa and Cristina.
Now it was just the two of them and he didn’t want to be so close to her.
Sarah snorted. “Come on, you’re taking advantage of me, okay?” However, she let go of his hand and followed him
carefully so as not to anger him.
They were about to enter when they saw Charlie in a wheelchair, Jonathan beside him, and the manager of the
restaurant.

Eugene followed her in confusion. Looking at her pale face, he asked, “What are you doing?”
Sarah said, “Uh… I’m not feeling well. I want to go back to the hotel.”
“You’re not feeling well? Do you need to go to the hospital?” Eugene asked with concern.
Sarah said, “Don’t bother. Just go and have lunch with them.”
“It’s okay. I’ll tell Charlie.” Eugene didn’t want to leave a sick girl behind.
Sarah, however, refused. “I’m fine. I’m… I’m just having my period. I want to go back to rest.”
Eugene froze and said, “Then I’ll walk you out.” He walked Sarah to the door, called a cab, and helped her get in.
Sarah looked at Eugene through the car window and breathed a sigh of relief. She freaked out completely.
