Chapter 393
She said, “None of your business!”
Eugene sneered. “The two children aren’t yours. You’re lying!” He had been so angry since he returned to the hotel
that he had investigated it. The result surprised him. Cristina couldn’t be the mother of the two
children.
While Cristina was trying to make an excuse, she heard Eugene ask, “The children are Theresa’s, right?”
Cristina said, “They’re mine.” She knew that Eugene was close to Charlie. She couldn’t let him know about this!
Eugene sneered. “Liar. I’ll ask Charlie. He’ll be happy to look into it.” Then he took out his phone.

“Why?” Eugene ignored her.
Cristina stood up angrily and reached for his phone. “What’s wrong with you? What does it have to do with you?”
Eugene looked at her and put the phone down. “So you’re admitting the children aren’t yours?”
“Yeah, so what?” Cristina was angry. She had wanted to piss him off, but she hadn’t expected him to look. into it. No
matter what, she couldn’t let him talk to Charlie about it.
Eugene asked, “Why did you lie to me?” He had been frustrated since he learned that the children were Cristina
and Charlie’s. However, the truth surprised him.
Cristina said, “Because you deserve it! You’re a liar. You abandoned me! I wish I’d gotten married and had children
before you came back.”
Eugene’s lips curled into a smile. He touched her nose and asked gently, “Why do you hate me so much? Do you
still like me?”
Cristina sneered. “I like you? Who do you think you are? Why should I like you? I’ll never be fooled by men. again.”
She wouldn’t make the same mistake.
“But I still like you,” Eugene said gently.
Cristina froze and her nose twitched.
Eugene took her into his arms. “Shall we start over?”
“In your dreams.” Cristina pushed him away hard. “What do you think I am? You can’t just tell me when to go and
when to stay! You’re dead in my mind. You said you’d never leave me unless you died. Why did you come back
since you’re dead?”

“Cristina.” Eugene looked at her.
Cristina stood up and strode out of the restaurant. She felt that Eugene had never taken her seriously. He had
abandoned her but now he was asking her to come back to him! How ridiculous!
Eugene followed her out.
Cristina was dragged back when she was about to cross the street.
Eugene took her into his arms. “Are you crazy? How could you run a red light?”
Cristina’c ears rang. She turned her head and saw the red light and that everyone was standing still. She struggled
in his arms. “Let go.”
Eugene let go of her but took her hand, trying to drag her back to the restaurant.
Cristina yelled behind him, “Are you out of your mind? Let go of me.”
