Chapter 1181 Rich Wife
It was ten sharp when Lucy was called into the event director's office. "Where's Cherise?" he inquired.
Lucy pursed her lips. "She's not feeling well and couldn'te in today."
"Hmm, skipping out without calling in sick? Must be living the high life with that rich husband," the director mumbled, shaking his
head.
Lucy furrowed her brow. "Excuse me, what did you say?"
If memory serves, neither she nor Cherise mentioned their personal lives during their job applications. How could the director
possibly know Cherise was married to someone wealthy?

The director blinked, clearing his throat. "Nothing important. It's Monday already. Did you finish the birthday celebration plan |
requested last week?"
Lucy took a deep breath and turned to place herpleted proposal on his desk. "Yes, it's finished. It might be a little basic, but I'd
appreciate your feedback."
The director frowned, picking up the plan and flipping through it. "Explain your approach."
Despite Lucy's typically carefree and assertive demeanor, she was thorough when it mattered.
Taking another deep breath, she slowed her speech. "Here's my thought process. Since you mentioned the birthday girl wasn't
from here but from Adania, and I've lived there since | was a kid, | incorporated a lot of unique Adanian touches into the party
theme."
She went on, "And about wanting to introduce her fiancé in a big way at the party? Just showing him off right away seemed kinda
boring. So, | cup with this: her fiancé surprises her with the cake, they cut it together, everyone's watching, and BAM! The
ring's hidden inside for her to find. Proposal and birthday celebration, all in one smooth move. Romantic, right?"
Lucy finished with a smile. 'Obviously, it's a surprise for the birthday girl, so we gotta keep it under wraps. I'm hoping to chat with
her fiancé about it first."
The supervisor studied the flawlessly planned birthday celebration proposal before him, his brow furrowing slightly. "Lucy, are you
sure you're a novice at this gig?"
Lucy's proposal was incredibly detailed. She'd considered everything - from guest seating arrangements to hotel staffing.
"Yep," Lucy grinned, catching his surprise. "I know, right? | used to know this person who was crazy about details; | guess it stuck

She looked up at the director. "So, can we proceed with this proposal?"
The supervisor, initially skeptical, conceded, "Looks good on paper, but we need the client's input. Head back for now. I'll send this
for feedback. If she approves, I'll try reaching the fiancé to see if he's on board."
Lucy nodded, about to leave, then paused as if remembering something crucial. "Director," she started.
"Yes?" the supervisor replied.
"Did you have someone check on Cherry?" Lucy inquired.
The supervisor hesitated, then shook his head. "No, not at all. A colleague saw her leaving in a fancy car and mentioned it."
Lucy nodded calmly and exited.
