Chapter 225 Nancy, You Look Like Someone

Julian quickly interrupted her. “Who said I have feelings for her?”

“Don’t you?” Toni asked, confused. “Why are you so concerned about Nancy’s situation, then?”

Julian frowned and eventually came up with a weak excuse. “I was asking for a friend.

“Oh.”

“So, do you know her boyfriend?”

She immediately shook her head. “No. Nancy hasn’t formally introduced us yet, but her boyfriend came to the

hospital once to see her, and I saw him briefly. He’s incredibly handsome, has a great temperament, and also a

great physique. Mr. Jadin, I think your friend probably doesn’t have much of

a chance.

Julian was speechless.

As they stood on a narrow road with many vehicles passing by, car horns began to blare in rapid succession behind

them.

“Get in the car!” Julian insisted.

Feeling cornered by the honking cars, she reluctantly got into Julian’s car. Julian sat in the back, and Nancy also took

a seat in the back.

Oddly, once in the car, Julian closed his eyes and appeared to be sleeping, not saying a word.

After about ten minutes, Nancy glanced at him, then out the window at the flashing neon lights. She spoke as she

couldn’t contain herself. “Mr. Jadin, if I’ve offended you in any way, I sincerely apologize and hope you can forgive

me. I genuinely didn’t try to attract your attention. I just want to focus on doing my job properly. My mother is also

in the medical field. She used to be a nurse, and becoming a doctor is a shared dream of hers and mine. I just want

An apology from him? Julian is apologizing to me? Is this real?

“Mr. Jadin, are you… are you really apologizing to me?”

Julian looked at her and nodded seriously. “You can rest assured. I am different now. If you have some time, could

you listen to my explanation?”

Nancy had not yet replied, but he had already started talking again. “My previous impression of you wasn’t good. I

repeatedly made things difficult for you. I even pushed you, ridiculed you, and tried to make you reveal your true

nature.”

Nancy stared at him and asked, “What is the most important reason?”

He looked at her with a deep and almost vortex-like gaze.

After a long pause, he spoke in a heavy tone. “The most important reason is that you look very much like

someone.”

Do I look like someone?

Nancy’s initial reaction was to think of her own background when she thought of this.

Can it be that I resemble my father, and Julian happens to know him?

This thought thrilled her, and she eagerly seized Julian’s garments, inquiring. “Who do I resemble?”
