Chapter eight

Arianna wondered if he didn’t recognize her or he was pretending not to. It’s true that it has been six

months since the night they shared, but how could he forget someone he was intimate with just like

that.

“I hope you recognize me, Mr. Oliver Stark, or do I need to explain myself,” Arianna said without a

pinch of fear in her, she was really trying to stay calm here because there was an angry demon in her

raging to be freed.

Oliver stared at her quietly for a while, and then he replied. “No, I don’t recognize you young lady.”

Arianna felt disappointed and clenched her fist in anger. Maybe it was the child in her womb

transforming the quiet Naïve girl into an aggressive strong lady.

She felt like giving this young man a tight slap that would leave her finger prints imprinted on his face

for days.

“Well I am the girl you took to supreme presidential suites on Valentine’s night. You could not have the

decency to say goodbye, you just left before I could even wake up. What kind of a man are you?” she

yelled angrily.

“Oh, so you are the girl that seduced me to bed on Valentine’s night? Aren’t you ashamed to stand here

and speak to me? Who even let such a cheap lady like you into my office?” Oliver retorted.

Arianna was shocked. Did he just call her a seductress? She was drunk that night but she could swear

that she did not seduce him.

She had never tried to seduce any of her boyfriends in the past so how more about a complete

stranger? Not even alcohol could make her do it.

But here right now, this shameless man was calling her shameless. She had never felt this insulted in

her life. This man had certainly bit more than he could chew; now he was going to see the worst of her.

“How dare you call me shameless? Do you think I am one of those girls you could use and get rid of

however you wish, and then you should think again because you are thinking wrong!

You were the one who took me by my hand straight to that club. I can’t even remember when you paid

the room fees and took me in.

If there is anyone of us who is shameless; it’s you for taking advantage of a drunken girl!” Arianna fired

back in a loud voice. She was fuming in anger right now.

“I don’t entertain worthless people like you here. I will just call the security to throw you out of this

property,” Oliver said and took the office phone.

“Before you think of that, I have come here to let you know that I am carrying your child. I am pregnant

for you Mr. Oliver and I doubt that you are blind not to see it.” Arianna announced.

Oliver dropped the phone immediately and sat upright, he remained quiet, staring at her for minutes,

and then he suddenly burst into laughter.

Arianna was puzzled on why he was laughing. Did he think this was a joke?

Oliver finally stopped laughing. “Do you think I am a little kid? So you are pregnant for some random

poor man and just like the other girls, you have come to put it on my head so that you can gain access

to my money.

Poor miserable girls like you, go around looking for billionaires like me to cling on to. I was not born

yesterday and I know that child isn’t mine.”

Arianna was almost at the point of losing control and hitting this man on the head with a coconut, that is

if she can find one in this office. How dare he try to deny the pregnancy, he was thinking of her as a girl

with loose morals and that’s what hurts her most, because indirectly he was insulting her mom`s

upbringing. If there was something she hated more than being wrongfully accused, it was someone

insulting her late parents. She could go to any extent to get back at them.

She was fighting back her tears, in order not to look weak. “Listen mister, you can call me names if you

want, but don’t try to deny that this child belongs to you. The child in my womb is yours!” She stated.

“No it does not, you are barking up the wrong tree and I know that because I took precautions that very

night.

You had succeeded in seducing me and I knew what other intentions you had. You wanted to take in

for me so that you could cling on to me but I was wiser that night, I made sure not to release my semen

inside of you that night, so you can’t pin this pregnancy on me.

However I must congratulate you for making such a quick back up plan, you got pregnant for someone

else and thought that you can make me take responsibility for it. I am not going to accept a ba$tard as

my child, but I will give you what you are here for.”

Oliver put his hand in a drawer and brought out four wraps of money, he threw it at Arianna and they

fell on the floor.

“Take that and get out of my office before I call the security to throw you out” He spat with spite in his

tone.

Arianna was now crying, unable to hold back the tears anymore. The insult and humiliation was more

than she could handle.

“There would be no need for that Mr. Oliver Gomez, you have told me all you have to say and showed

me what a horrible man you are. For your information, I am not here for your money, so keep your

cursed money to yourself.

You have not heard the last of me, you might have hurt other women in the past and went scot-free, but

this time around, Nemesis will catch up with you, this is my promise to you.” She spoke amidst tears.

Arianna turned around immediately and ran out in tears. This man had hurt her beyond measure, and

she was not going to let him off so easily. She would fight to the very end for justice!
