Brian’s eyes narrowed a bit. He had seen too many pretentious women before, but Rosalynn was

“Rosalynn, watch out!”

The next moment, a faint mint-like fragrance slightly tickled her nose.

When Rosalyn slowly raised her head, her eyes met Brian’s.

With her hands flat on his chest, she could clearly feel his strong heartbeat.

“Sorry. I think | used too much strength.”

Karina quickly ran to them and apologized. But it was a bit obvious that she was holding back her

laughter as the two embraced each other in front of her.

Rosalynn finally regained her senses and realized that she was still in Brian’s arms. She hurriedly

pushed him away and maintained some distance.

“Thank you…”

Feeling that his arms suddenly became empty, Brian felt a little disappointed. He then glanced at

Rosalynn, lowered his eyes, and straightened his clothes. ©

“Next time, be more mindful. Don’t just stand there like a fool.”

wearing a sour expression. “You did that on purpose, didn’t you?”

Karina’s apology earlier was so fake, and Rosalynn could see through her.

“Oh, please! Don’t play dumb with me!”

“Ha-hal Okay, okay! Don’t be mad at me. | just wanted to test him. | wanted to see if he would save

you. Anyway, isn’t it good that he’s not a total jerk?”
