Chapter 602
Esther gazed closely at Bradley’s face, and her heart suddenly softened.
His kiss held a possessive dominance, claiming every bit of Esther’s sweetness as if he wanted to mark
her as his own.
He released his hand from Esther’s neck, and she stumbled, her legs weak.
Bradley seized Esther and tossed her onto the hospital bed. He yanked her hair and asked through gritted teeth,
“Esther, do you wish for my death?”
Esther shook her head. “No.”

He wouldn’t allow Esther to be happy with another man.
Bradley would eliminate Jasper before his own death to prevent him from making a move.
Esther gazed at Bradley’s furious face, took a deep breath, and tried to console him as if soothing a child. “Bradley,
you’ll be okay, I promise. You, me, Felix, and our daughter will all live happily as a family.”
She held Bradley tightly, seeking to reassure him with her actions and convey her unwavering support.
Do you really mean that?” Bradley asked darkly.
Esther nodded, fearing any hesitation might make Bradley doubt her sincerity.
“Bradley, we’ll all be fine.”
Bradley released his grip on Esther and slowly stood up. Looking at the red marks on her neck, he said, coldly, “You
don’t have to marry Chadwick.”
Esther, surprised, asked, “Why not?”
“I won’t allow another man to touch my woman, even if she’s as worn as old shoes!”
Esther felt as though Bradley had stabbed her heart, causing unbearable pain.
With sorrow in her eyes, she asked after a long pause, “Bradley, what… am I to you?”
Was she just a disposable woman?
Bradley looked at her, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “Esther, do you still delude yourself into thinking. love you?
Hah! You’re not even deserving!”

Unwilling tears streamed from Esther’s eyes onto her hair. She had thought she could face anything fearlessly, but
Bradley’s indifference proved the hardest thing to bear..
“Remember!” Bradley snarled, “You owe me a child!”
Esther’s hand instinctively went to her abdomen. She wanted a child, too. Everything that had happened was a
series of unfortunate events.
“Until you give me this child, you’re an unforgivable sinner in my eyes!”
Esther’s tears flowed even more fiercely. Her heart ached so much that breathing became difficult. She wanted to
say, “Bradley, it was you… Our child… It was your doing…”
But she couldn’t bring herself to say it. She knew better than anyone that Chadwick would have taken advantage of
her if Bradley hadn’t arrived in time.
Esther looked at Bradley in despair. She uncovered her scar with trembling lips. “Bradley, you might not know, but I
can never have children again in my life.”
