“Who is he?” Bradley asked.
Esther gazed into Bradley’s crimson eyes and mockingly asked, “Mr. Warner, aren’t you really that clever? Can you
guess who he is?”
“Don’t provoke me…”
“Provoke?” Esther replied calmly, “Is this provocation? No, I’m just stating a fact.”
Bradley let go of Esther’s chin and pushed her onto the bed. His imposing presence overwhelmed her.
Esther didn’t resist or struggle. She simply looked at Bradley’s handsome face and whispered, “You’re not him.”

After what felt like an eternity, Bradley stopped and looked at the lifeless Esther.
“Esther! I don’t care if you pretend to be dead, crazy, or have amnesia. I want you to remember…” Bradley spoke
arrogantly. “Until I’ve had enough of you, don’t even think about leaving.
“Otherwise… you’ll face the consequences.”
With that, Bradley forcibly took Esther into the bathroom. “Clean yourself up.”
Esther unzipped her dress and thoroughly washed herself before Bradley. He stood at the bathroom door, his
intrusive gaze fixed on Esther’s body.
After her shower, Esther put on a bathrobe. She had recently experienced an allergic reaction and was now feeling
somewhat drowsy.
“How do you access the secret room?” she asked.
Bradley opened the secret chamber with a slight frown.
Once inside, Esther lay down in the crystal coffin, a task she was accustomed to. She obediently closed her eyes.
Bradley closed the door to the chamber again. An unexplainable rage boiled within him.
Bradley stood outside Mandy’s bedroom door, knocking insistently.
Mandy had just fallen asleep and was rudely awakened by the furious knocking. She removed her silk eye mask and
took a few deep breaths to control her frustration.
“It’s quite late, Bradley. Is there a problem?” she asked.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmBradley gripped Mandy’s chin and forcefully pressed her against the doorframe. “Mandy, did you do this on
purpose?”
Mandy stared at Bradley with wide eyes and pretended to be clueless. “Did what on purpose?”
“Did you intentionally give Esther food she’s allergic to? Do you believe that by triggering Esther’s allergic reaction,
I’ll…”
Mandy thought, ‘Yes, Bradley. I did it on purpose, so what? Do you have any evidence to prove it? If you don’t have
proof, isn’t this slander?’
Mandy closed her eyes and chuckled wryly. “Since you suspect me so much, I don’t know how to prove my
innocence either. Well then, please continue.”
