“Shut up!” Bradley erupted.
Mandy acted as if she was shivering in fear.
Kevin chuckled cynically. “What’s this? Can’t handle the news of Esther’s death? Well, what can you do? Esther is
gone! We cremated her body right in front of you, and we scattered her ashes into the sea! Bradley, need I remind
you how Esther met her end?”
Bradley rushed to Kevin, seized his collar, and snarled, “Kevin, shut up!”
“Bradley, Esther is finally at peace! Unlike you, who can’t come to terms with her passing, I commend her!”

Kevin stood there, enduring Bradley’s rage.
“Kevin, shut up! Esther is not dead.”
He had seen Esther just last night, and he was a moment away from holding her in his arms.
Mandy now understood that Bradley couldn’t accept Esther’s death. She added fuel to the fire, saying, “Bradley, I
know it’s hard to accept Esther’s death, but she is gone, and you must grieve.”
Bradley looked at Mandy malevolently, his gaze filled with sorrow. “I’ll say it again: Esther is not dead.”
Kevin pushed Bradley aside and angrily said, “Bradley, Esther is gone. She chose death over being imprisoned by
you again.
“Do you know what the greatest tragedy in your life is, Bradley? It’s the death of Esther. She can never return!”
Kevin picked up the wedding photo of Bradley and Esther from the bedside table. Esther looked radiant and
charming in the photo, her eyes brimming with love and longing.
In the same picture, Bradley appeared cold, disdainful, and devoid of joy. His body language conveyed a strong
desire to escape.
“Bradley! Have you seen Esther in this photo? Anyone who looks at this picture can see how much Esther loved you.
“Yet, not only did you not love her, but you also sent her to prison for five years, slowly breaking her spirit!”
Kevin tore the photo into two halves before Bradley’s eyes.
“Bradley, you’re not worthy of standing by Esther’s side!”

remained irreparable. “Who gave you the right to tear my photo apart?!”
Kevin sneered. “Bradley, you abused and harmed her when she was alive, and now that she’s gone, you’re
treasuring a photo like this?
“Are you trying to tell me that you’ve only realized you loved Esther after her death?
“Don’t even think about saying you’ve only realized your love for Esther now! Your love tarnishes Esther’s journey in
death!”
Mandy silently applauded Kevin in her heart and added, “Dr. Slade, Bradley does love Esther!”
“Love?” Kevin scoffed. “He dares to use the word ‘love’? Disgusting!”
