Bradley had killed Esther. What reason did he even have to keep on living?
Mandy couldn’t help but admire Kevin silently. Men truly knew how to hurt each other deeply.
Even though Esther had been her enemy, all Mandy could do was applaud now that Esther was no more.
Nevertheless, she couldn’t help but also applaud Kevin’s attitude.
Mandy took a seat and gazed at Bradley, who was still staring at the wedding photo. “Bradley, if you truly didn’t
love Esther, maybe I should have the service staff burn everything related to her at Warner Manor…”
Before Mandy could finish her sentence, a glint flickered in Bradley’s eyes. His eyes resembled those of a lone wolf
in the pitch-black night.

Mandy offered a faint, cold smile and replied, “Bradley, are you unwilling to do that?”
Bradley remained silent.
Mandy provocatively continued. “Maybe you’ve loved Esther all along but couldn’t admit it, is that it? Unfortunately,
whether you loved or hated Esther, she’s gone! She died by your hand and can never return in this lifetime!
“Regardless of love or hate, your feelings for her have nowhere to go now that she’s left this worl—”
Mandy didn’t get to finish her sentence as Bradley suddenly grabbed her throat and ruthlessly muttered, “Shut up!”
Unfazed, Mandy continued. “B-Bradley, you still can’t admit that you love Esther?”
“Shut up!” Bradley’s tone carried anger and icy killing intent.
“Bradley, I’m not Esther. If you kill me, you’ll end up in prison.
“No, it should be an eye for an eye.
“Perhaps if you die now, you can join Esther on the journey to the afterlife. And if you’re lucky, you’ll be reborn as
siblings…”
Mandy thought that wishing lovers to become siblings might be the most vicious curse in the world.
Bradley released his grip, glanced down at Mandy, and left the hospital.
Mandy rubbed her neck, thinking that it really hurt. She wondered how Esther had endured all of this. Had she been
in love with Bradley to the point of developing a mental illness? How else could she have allowed a man to treat her
this way?

Bradley hailed a taxi and returned to Warner Manor. When the service staff saw Bradley, who looked pale and
lifeless, they timidly moved aside.
Bradley headed to the storage room where he had fainted earlier. None of the items in the room had been touched
by anyone.
“Come in!”
A maid cautiously entered and asked, “Mr. Warner, what are your orders?”
“Put all these things back.”
The maid was surprised as if she had misheard.
“Put them back?”
Bradley replied coolly, “I said put them back. Don’t you understand?”
