Alice knew Caleh was desperate to cooperate; he couldn't bear losing his company. For Caleb, having Chloe take

over was worse than death. The boomerang had hit him, and he felt the pain. Caleb asked, “What are your

terms?”

“Simple. Transfer all your company shares to me.”

“Alice, are you crazy?!” Caleb couldn't believe it.“If | give you my shares, all my efforts will have been for

nothing.”

“Didn’t you say you'd agree to any terms if | didn’t press charges, to make amends?” Alice’s eyes were mocking

Caleb was momentarily speechless. “But | built this company from the ground up.” “I know, but you can use Big

Brother's shares. You remain a top star, your reputation intact. It's a win-win.”

Alice stepped closer, her voice low and menacing.“Greedy? Without the scripts I slaved over, would

your company even be this successful? This is what | deserve.” Before, she'd only wanted to escape the

Alice said, “Doing this will only offend Big Brother. Will Third Brother do reconstructive surgery for you?” Third
