“They are. I think it is best that you give it a day or two before your meet them. Talk to
Colt about how to go about it but I’d give it a day or two.” I didn’t want her to see the
state of her mother’s neck.
Penny opened her mouth but closed it and nodded. She must have. read between the lines
and decided it wasn’t worth going against my word. I would never steer her in the wrong
direction so I was thankful she agreed to that. Still, not knowing who your parents are all
these years and then all that get dumped on you?

you marked Alec. We decided to remodel the entire place. However, that room is
untouched. It is your’s to remodel or
leave as is. I don’t think you will ever feel like this is home to you but hopefully it will be a
place you will want to visit. A place you can get memories with any niece or nephew you
have.”
