Buck burst into laughter and changed the topic, saying, “Hey Ms. Maia, the show’s team wants you to post a Tweet for the finale
of ‘The Quest.’
Baz also came running to Cedric, panting heavily, and said, “Mr. Cedric, the team talked to us. They want to use the corporate
Twitter to post about the ‘The Quest‘ finale. Since Sunny Videos is under HL Corporation, they said it’s all cool if you don’t agree.
They just suggested it.
Cedric listened, looked at Maia, and asked, “Should we do it?”
Baz and Buck exchanged glances and widened their eyes in surprise. Cedric, as if seeking his wife’s opinion, spoke with such a
gentle tone, as if whether to post or not, he would follow
Maia’s decision.
“If Mr. Cedric wants to post, then go ahead. There’s no need to ask for my opinion. Sunny Videos isn’t mine, it belongs to HL
Corporation’s,” Maia immediately responded, taking out her phone from her pocket.
As she was about to post the Twitter, Cedric’s deep voice sounded behind her, “I’ll give you Sunny Videos tomorrow.”
His words were casual, but they carried a serious undertone. Buck and Baz were now left with mouths wide open, wide enough
to fit an egg.
“Wait,” Maia immediately said, “Compared to Mr. Cedric, I’m broke. The poor don’t accept handouts, I prefer to win things over
based on my capabilities.”
“Then, will you compete with me?”
Now, Baz and Buck couldn’t stand still anymore. They both leaned against the wall. Who would’ve thought that the once arrogant
and extremely ruthless guy would say such things.

Baz had an epiphany. Cedric was making the move himself! This was another excellent learning opportunity for him! He quickly
followed Cedric.
Following Maia through a special passage into the underground parking lot, Buck finally spoke up, “Ms. Maia, what you said to
Mr. Cedric just now was too cool! But this is also the first time I’ve seen Mr. Cedric act like that... It’s really unbelievable.”
Maia looked at Buck’s astonished face and asked, “What’s he like?”
Buck immediately responded, “In front of you, Ms. Maia, and in front of others, he’s like two different people. It’s obvious!”

Pretending not to notice, Maia immediately reposted the official Twitter of “The Quest” and wrote a simple caption: “Thanks to all
the contestants, supporters, and hardworking staff. Thanks to this summer for letting us meet and this fall for letting us meet
again.”

After the tweet was posted, Maia locked her screen, putting the phone back in her pocket. But the next second, her phone
vibrated.
HL Corporation used its official Twitter to repost her Twitter, with just one line: “Whatever Maia says is the truth. Cedric agrees.”

Seeing this line, Maia burst into laughter. In the front seat, Buck instantly froze, and looked at Maia through the rearview mirror.
“Ms. Maia, what happened? Why are you laughing so happily?”
She immediately suppressed her laughter and replied, “Nothing, just saw a funny joke. Let’s drive.”
He nodded and steered the car towards the misty city streets. The vehicle smoothly navigated through the urban roads...
The car remained silent until Maia’s phone rang. She saw it was a video call from Errol. Maia pressed the answer button, and
Errol and Elena appeared on the phone screen.
“Sis, congratulations despite the little incident midway, tonight’s live broadcast of ‘The Quest ‘exceeded 600 million views!” Errol
wore a full smile, immediately gesturing, “Sis, Elena and I have been watching the live stream the whole time!”
Elena also nodded immediately, following with gestures, “Yeah, I picked several sisters! Sis, you look so beautiful without
makeup on stage! It’s 11pm now, how about we go for supper together?” Elena suggested.
Errol agreed, “Sis, you must be hungry, right? Where are you now? We’ll come find you and go for supper together!”
Indeed, Maia was feeling a bit hungry. After getting up, she hadn’t eaten anything and was dragged straight to the program
venue until now.
Maia couldn’t refuse Errol and Elena’s invitation.
“I’m on the way back to Cloud Nine Residences now. How about we meet at the campus city? There are lots of supper choices
there.”
“Sure, sure.” Errol and Elena nodded consecutively. “Let’s meet at the campus city!”
After the video call ended, Maia had Buck change the direction and head towards the campus city.
